SPDC International Tour
São Paulo Dance Company will perform in three different cities in Europe, with six differents creations by Brazilian and international choreographers.
In France, the performances will take place at Anthéa - Antipolis Théâtre d'Antibe on December 3th pm (local time). It will be presented Agora by Cassi Abranches, Mamihlapinatapai by Jomar Mesquita with the collaboration of Rodrigo de Castro, and Odisseia by Joëlle Bouvier.
We will be to Germany at the Tanzprogramm Festspiele in Ludwigshafen. On December 6th and 7th, at 7:30 pm (local time), we will present Odisseia, Trick Cell Play by Édouard Lock and Firebird by Marco Goecke, restage by Giovanni Di Palma.
Closing the International Tour 2019, from December 10th to 13th at 8:30 pm (local time), we will return to France at Bonlieu Scène Nationale Annecy with Agora, Odisseia and Ngali ... , by Jomar Mesquita in collaboration with Rodrigo de Castro.
DANÇA EM REDE
The Dança em Rede is an online collaborative encyclopedia, which seeks to understand and disseminate the dance of Brazil. The Dança Em Rede (Dance Network) presents informative texts about dance in Brazil and abroad, aiming to expand and democratize access to the art.
Among the 30 awards that the SPDC has won over its 11 years of existence, two are of international recognition: - Grand Prix de la Critique (2019): elected by French critics as the best dance company of the international season in France - Gutesiehel Public Prize (2017): elected by Germany critics as the best performance of the year
Throughout its 11 years of history, São Paulo Dance Company has performed in 55 cities in 17 different countries, including locations in Europe, North America, South America and Asia. Only abroad, the Company has already performed 138 presentations to an audience over 124,000 people
